On 19 August 2020, Ocius staff and board and a handful of VIPs gathered at Ocius R&D facility at UNSW to celebrate the christening of “Beth”, the first of 5 next-generation 6.8 metre/22 foot Bluebottle Uncrewed Surface Vessels. Due to COVID 19, it was a small gathering and joined by 30 people online.
The official christening of ‘Beth’ was performed by Ocius Chairman Mark Bethwaite AM and Jill Bethwaite in honour of the late Carolyn Elizabeth Bethwaite.
